Working through the ranks, covering all disciplines of mining up to senior management over a 24 year career. At the time the deepest mine in the world, with challenges like heat, seismicity, geological anomalies, Jan distinguished himself as a leader of miners and overcame most of the challenges encountered. Produced 200Koz of gold annually towards the end of this stint.
1999-2011 

1999-2011 Contractor at Raise Mining Services

Armed with the experience gained during the 24 years above, Jan offered his experience as contractor to the industry in South Africa, Botswana and Zambia at Gold, Platinum, Copper, and Nickel mines. Contracts included, infrastructure work, production, rehabilitation, and shaft sinking.
